What does an "A" at the end mean, such as "XC68060RC60A"? It's a full 060, presumably?

Amiga Format Nov '99:
Quote:
Motorola CPU chips are branded with arcane alphanumeric codes like MC68EC040RC33A. The first letter is generally X or M. XC denotes an early batch anf MC a later one, officially 'certified', with obscure bug-fixes. An A or B on the end suggests more fundamental reworking and is a good sign of a later batch.
Cut-down chips have a couple of letters after the 68. LC chips are sold without the internal FPU, and 'Embedded Controller' EC chips only guarantee the integer unit & caches. At first Motorola shipped full 68060s stamped 68EC060 and 68LC060 but now they make cheaper, faster LC versions with no FPU.
The numerals after 68 denote the chip type: 030, 882, 040, 060, or whatever. Then comes RC for ceramic PGA, or FN or FE for cheaper plastic packages, and the frequency rating in mhz.
