Schoenfeld, try to run it as-is under WINE, but then you need access to the harddrive(s) with your amigastuff from WINE.

Nice tool - I just tried scanning through some of my ADF files but somehow quite a lot of them seems to have sector errors, although most of them work just fine. Maybe sector errors are more common on Amiga disks than one would expect..
There was also a few which was could not be matched by any image in TOSEC, not even as a partial match. I will look closer at them to see if that can really be true (don't think they should be rare in any way). |

@Phiber
DMS-W supports joined DMS files (disk1a.dms + disk1b.dms in one big dms file) and you can use the "Merge Some files" function to convert in ADF, a set of split DMS files (disk1a.dms & disk1b.dms) @Schoenfeld I'll see what I can do but I will not promise anything. By cons, this project is closed source, sorry @demolition You have some sample files containing errors but works well? |

They might not work 100%, only that I didn't have any problems with starting and playing part of the game, but the problems can likely show up later in the game. Some of them would not boot up, so was clearly broken.

I dont know, if there is any need to rename sets above. Is there any guarantee, that [F7316A72] is really bam-copied disk of [0E18F74F]? Technically it is for sure, but is it not possible, that some disk-copier add his own values to free area, in this case "FFFF" ? Or am i completely wrong? |

I think the unused areas could contain anything. If you do a bamcopy to a disk with data already on it, it will not overwrite the data in the unused sectors.

Indeed, everything is possible...preferably, it is best to compare with the original (SPS => ADF) but in this case, given the lack of audit evidence, I prefer not to touch anything.

Anyway still have some problems to interpret alterations on disk. Can you please check whole current 4D Sports Boxing v1.0 ADFs and let me know, how would you change filenames and why. There are some altered disks(datestamps and other modifications). It would be easier for me to name disks correctly, if i would see some examples. Quote:
