I did put the same chip back into the socket. The, I made sure all the sockets were clean and the gold contacts were also clean and put the rest of the chips back in. They're mixed up, but now they work fine. What I did was when I got the error "Data bit D3 is probably bad." was replace the chip in socket U13 with another one until both banks were populated. I really did think I would have a problem when I put in the last, but I did not.

The banks were fully populated when I got the error. Thanks, everyone, for all your help. It appears to be working fine now.

I spoke too soon. I have a chip that gets too hot when I turn the computer on. Evidently, my bad chip.
