well i installed the libs (replacing the blizzard ones) and i have to say it's a great improvement, far more stable then when using "other" libs
![]() this was one of those "it doesn't work and it's driving me bonkers because it doesn't work" things. i also thought if we could get the installer working correctly then future generations of Amiga/Apollo users would be able to use a readily available and usable install disk instead of trawlling the internet and installing the wrong libs etc. but i guess the best we can do for them is to post everywhere we can just to un DMS this disk and manually copy over the 3 files ![]() once again a BIG thanks to hit and Zetr0 for all thier help ![]() ![]() ![]() cheers, JuvUK |

i'm still convinced, the "Apollo-Install5.0" is only for preparing partitions and so on. the 060-libs installer is "SD0:060HD-Install_GB". it seems to be a shell script. you can run it using: execute 060HD-Install_GB
but it seems buggy, did a testrun. no clue what apollo dudes thought, when they made this disk... an installer would be fine, yes, but simply a copy of the libs and the little tool, is something, everyone can manage ![]() |
