Ok I only just noticed this thread... but as well as Neil79's articles in IndieRetroNews, I also wrote this piece as my build up to Amiga Day...
The final "reveal" is here (with earlier parts here and here The next phase (sort out issues, upgrade, additional member to the family - hint baby brother )is going to be started this week, but will probably only be logged here... I haven't decided if I'll article-ify it yet... |

Yeah, it's been a long time coming. I chatted with Merlin about it a few years ago on another board (not amibay) and he told me about amibay for getting the missing bits sorted out. But with the baby, I just haven't had the time to do well anything really! but now he's a little older, I have evenings back, and I'm trying to cram as much stuff in as possible! this has been a project that's been on the back burner for at least 8 years and amiga day just seemed the right time in conjunction with starting to write for IRN... It all kind of fell together at the same time

May I add:
* Do whatever it takes to buy every Amiga model in existence, including the A3000UX. Also, you can buy a PPC Amiga if you wish. * Purchase at least 2 bits of hardware for a model of your own choice. * Play and complete at least 5 games, designed for that particular model. * Challenge any EAB member, pick a game, and see if you can beat each other's high scores. * Post a photo of your Amiga models on every social media site you're on. Happeeeee Amiga Day everyone!
So what have I been up to? 1. Have posted (after 20 years) artwork I did in the brilliant program, DPaint, here 2. Played (via WinUAE) Slam Tilt, The Settlers and Lemmings Tribes. 3. Tinkered with AMOS Pro and trying to fathom once more my game code. (If it's like riding a bike then can someone lend me stabilisers please? LOL). |
