I'm hoping this isn't just dead end and the routine is unusable on A500. Strange that it works (ish) on 68010 though.

Used Earok's code to reduce screen but no difference so I think at this point that maybe vsprites is not compatible with 68000.

Having spent a week or so trying different things I think I need to stop and accept that this game will be AGA only...

So I will finish it for 1200/4000/CD32. Perhaps when it's done, a more knowledgeable person than me can get it working on a 500?

Is the left border at least 72 pixels wide?

I think so - just used Earok's code as suggested. It's weird that it doesn't work on 68000 but does on 68010...
