I must say, what a great blog fitzsteve!
What do you use your A4000 for that your other Amiga's can't do? |

To be honest other than the Tocatta recording in 16bit it doesn't really do anything more than say my A1200T or A4000 Mirage Pro Tower but I just love the standard A4000D look, it's such a nice setup to have ready to use I tend to do my work with Floppy Disks on the A4000, I know it's a little overpowered for such a task but the Floppy Drive is excellent in this one, perfect results with reading/writing ADF's I really need to setup Octamed and have a play with that, and other software that will use the soundcard. I'll blog on that once I learn the ropes! And it still always feels like a 'real' Amiga whereas these aftermarket Towers tend to loose some of the Amiganess once you build them up Speaking of the learning curve, for my PPC Amiga's I've picked up a copy of Tornado 3D, I hear it's really complicated but I want to have a go at rendering some 3D stuff with it, wish me luck Thanks for reading & again for the positive feedback. Steve. |

It's been a long time but I've found some time today to publish a new article for my blog:
http://www.fitzstevesamigaworld.co.uk/?p=107 I hope to bring more frequent updates, especially with all the new and exciting kit coming to the Amiga, specifically A500/A600 Turbo Boards. I'm hoping to get my hands on a Beta ACA500 to review |

Hi Folks,
Some of you might have read this story already as I published it over 10 chapters here and at EAB however I'm adding it to my blog and thought those who missed it first time round might like to read about my return to the Amiga scene and the journey that saw me build up my Amiga collection. Chapter 1 is here: http://www.fitzstevesamigaworld.co.uk/?p=139 I hope you enjoy, I'm also going to try and be more active with news and reviews. I'm hoping to get hold of the new Rapid USB and a Prisma sound card when they come out and intend to do some reviews and Videos Thanks for reading! Steve. |

Problem is in file /wp-content/uploads/montezuma/style.css here:
Code:
body { ... opacity: 0; } If javascript is enabled, the body gets shown via /wp-content/uploads/montezuma/javascript.js?ver=4.0 after webfont is loaded or finally after page is ready here: Code:
jQuery(document).ready(function($) { if( $('body').css('opacity') == 0 ) { $('body').css('opacity', 1); } Edit: Thanks for the very interesting blog, read all pages last night :-) |

OT: It's not a bug in WP. Your "theme" wants it exactly this way, without scripts enabled the site will always show up empty...
Reading on... |
