1942.sid?

It's in the zone for you! And in case you just wanted the original song's title, it's:

633rd Squadron by Ron Goodwin

It's the music from a movie of the same name.

Thanks a lot akira. Now if I were better at finding music on the net I'd go out and search now.

As it stands now I couldn't even hope to use google as my ISP has messed up something. Google don't load. Somethingawful don't load. EAB is one of the few places I can load.

Oo. Just noticed this thread. Here are some games I like. I have tried to list different ones from those already posted, but have failed spectacularly in some cases. I have also cheated a teeny bit, as too many cool games start with the letter ‘S’, so I have ignored fair play and squeezed them in anyhow.

# - ?
APB
Bubble Bobble
Crazy Eights
Dynablaster
El Golf Sensato
Flying Shark
Guardian
Hard Drivin’
Imperator
Jungle Strike
Knockout 2
Lords of Chaos
Microprose Soccer
Naughty Ones
Overlander
Pang
Quak
Roadkill
Sensible Soccer (Any edition – they are all beautiful)
Toki
Utopia
Virocop
World Games
Xybots
Y - ?
Zuper Zkidmarks

It could have been worse. I could have included 'Thuper Tennis Champs'.

@alkis21: Hey, World Champ! Nice to hear about Kick Off's thriving following. The intense competition must keep the game fresh and exciting. Now I'm going to upset you - I've never, ever played it myself. Sensi got me first, and I have been in love ever since.

What's this then?

You said 1942 was never released for the Amiga. Well, I found it here:
http://amiga.l33tz.com/menua1.html
I'm not home at the moment but I'll give it a try when I get there.

Believe me, dude. We research the hell out of this stuff. We all want to have faith in some of these elusive games existing, but rest assured we leave few stones unturned before we close the book on a game. Sites like that one are common in that they scarcely even know what they are offering for download. The internet is a breeding ground for misinformation and it takes a strong heart and a bullhead to pillage through the data. I reckon we're masochists!

Hey Twistin, only now I noticed you've added Trolls in your list.
I always loved this game (Despite the puke indulcing cuteness ), and I always thought it was a very underrated title.

I totally agree, didn't like the AGA version though, there were just too many colours. I played the ECS one for hours. Same thing goes for Oscar.
