Slightly OT, but does anyone have Battle Chess for the Archimedes? I need it for a HOL conversion shot and I can't find it anywhere.

I'm still hunting endlessly for the Archimedes version of Xenomorph... the only version I have yet to play! ...and I'm hoping the only version that implements all the stuff in the other versions that was never implemented but existing half-implemented in the data files (medkit, fire extinguisher, etc.).
I don't suppose anyone has ever seen that floating around? >.<; |

This thread reminds me of an old "lost computers" article I wrote about this machine a few years back. I was feeling nostalgic at the time after remembering the great RiscOS:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...ighlight=acorn It ended up going a little off topic and people started talking about the Atari Falcon! That machine was going to be my next article and Akira was going to write one on the Sharpe x68000. Never happened though. Oh well. About the Falcon - some interesting stuff in that thread. Take a look at the never released prototype Micro 040 Falcon design - it looked like a PS2! Fred: Yeah, you're right. I comment on the gaming aspect back in that article. Shame really - a few custom chips like the Amiga or hardware like the Sharpe x68000 and it really could have been something special! AmigaHope: Never seen a Xenomorph for the Archie, sorry. |

Yes it has a few nice ports Fred - many directly taken from the Amiga.
Keropi, I don't have any sites like the BBOAH for these machines. I wouldn't mind taking a look myself if someone has a link or two.... |

Back to the original point of this, Peter Howkins' excellent RPCEmuSpoon branch (fork, spoon) of RPCEmu has links to ROM images.
