This is why I don't use Google for anything, anyhow, anytime! My guess is it's to do with the rom, they probably have a bot that looks for anything with a .rom extension.

I don't suppose it's someone reporting it for being a ripoff of UAE4Droid, or something equally strange?

Would Google even tell you if you asked them for the reason?
So far the explanations have been geek speak. |

Why don't you simply contact them and ask what the "impersonation violation" consists of?
This seems the simplest and most obvious step to start with. You could speculate a thousand years and miss the precise reason. Just contact them and ask for more precise details. They are not going to bite you because you act like an adult by asking for more details. Solving a problem requires information. Start with the task of obtaining this information before anything else. Also, while you wait for their answer, re-read carefully the section about "impersonation violation" and try to match it with the material you have submitted. Any other advice is frankly akin to reading the tea leaves. |

The show must go on. I received today answer from google play team on my request about reasons of removal.
--------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Lubomyr, Thanks for contacting the Google Play Team. After further review, we’re unable to reinstate your app as it looks to be the same as an app that was previously published on Google Play. If you own both apps, please be aware that this is a violation of the Spam policy: https://play.google.com/about/spam.html#spam If the rights to the app belong to you, you can file a Copyright or Trademark infringement report through this form (please select Google Play - Apps): https://support.google.com/legal/troubleshooter/1114905 Please let me know if I can help with anything else. I wonder if it's because there are other apps with similar names. eg AnUAE4all and UAE4droid. Maybe give it a new name. And remove the boing ball and Amiga tick from the logo.

if i correct understand that received mail, removal not related with any file content.
In this message indicated that current uae4all2 same as old (pandora.uae4all.sdl) which i published via pelya's google-play account. When uae4all2 with older package name was removed from google-play, google offered possibility republish it with new package name, what i was did (with removed screenshot of games which can caused first removal) via my personal googleplay account. But now i received threat that if i'm author of both apps it's violation of the Spam policy. With unknown reason google ignore fact that those both apps will never published simultaneously. Second app was published only after removal of first. Also stupid request about Copyright or Trademark when in app was always indicated that is open sourced with GPL2 license with github URL to source-code. That's very weird how they delete the original Amiga app (even though there is only one instance of it), yet they keep apps like UAE4Droid which is based on UAE4All2 (and is crap). I wonder if they'd warn you again if you released UAE4Arm on GooglePlay.

In my appeal i indicated that both apps (via pelya's and my google account) were published by me. Pelya (owner of google-play account where was published first app) after first removal offered me republish it via my personal google-play account. But I never published them simultaneously. Second app was published only after removal first. That cannot be violation of the Spam policy. Also I indicated that app is open sourced with GPLv2 license with link to github sources of uae4all2. Nothing more.
In received mail was wrote that my appeal is accepted original copy of received mail -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Lubomyr, Thanks for your reply. We’ve accepted your appeal and your app has been reinstated. For the app to appear on the Play Store, you’ll need to sign into your Developer Console and click "Submit update" to submit your app again. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thanks for supporting Google Play! ----------------------------------------------------- Last edited by lubomyr; 15 April 2016 at 14:31. |

I was wondering why there were 2* UAE4ALL2 versions. I do think we should rename this reupload to UAE4ALL3 though as thats where it went wrong I think.

Hi lubomyr!
i sideloaded UAE4ALL2 in the NVIDIA SHIELD TV, runs very well, are you going to release a official version for this device? Are there any way you could add some filter effects like SCANLINES, CRT, HQX, Etc please? Thank you for your great work! Sorry if this is offtopic. |

Hi lubomyr,
Also Shield TV. I Installed the latest version of the emulator on Shield TV, and the launcher icon is funny. Something flower, see the screenshot. ( besides of the Dolphin emulator) This can be replaced with another? Screenshot link : http://s31.postimg.org/4hd7tqjjv/20160420_200433.png And one question: the Gamesome app not supported the Amiga emulator. I asked the developer here :https://plus.google.com/communities/...63558786832320 for the support, and he said : "Amiga emulators are coded in such a way that they cannot execute roms from outside. What you can do is mailing the authors suggesting to add a new Intent to directly launch games". This could be possible? Thanks! |
