back in 1991 they used to spray paint A500's at copypartys here in Sweden. I have seen some A500 painted in ugly neon colors from that time. Looked ugley, but the blue c64 was cool

The next big thing will be custompainted oldskool computars

I'm going to try painting an a500 myself. What kind of paint should I prefer? Spray or something else that can be used with plastic surfaces?

Seeing as I done some PC modding in the past I would recommend using Vynil Dye!

It comes in a spray can and is just like ordinary paint but is proper stuff for plastic... which means not much is needed and it does not ruin the original finish of the plastic

I have seen cd-rom drives done with this stuff and i can tell you it looks bloody great and also you cant scratch it! it wont peel off etc...

what happend to the a500 that was sprayed? was it finished cuzz i would love to see it

AS for the keyboard! i have seen hardcore modders spray the key caps on pc keyboards and print the letters back on! then sealing it with clear laquer stuff!

suppose if you couldnt source a decent set of keytops and you could remember what every key did you could just spray em....leave em blank i hate yellowing

*IBM made a pretty decent usb keyboard that came with no letters/numbers at all! direct from the factory lol!
