Very nice. Tried copying it to HD or using a generic WHDLoad slave, but once the "h" file is loaded it tries to load from the df0: at all times, regardless if you reassign df0: to had directory or use a generic slave.

It uses a track loader, so that's probably not possible what you are trying to do there...

Yea Are you planning on doing a HD version ? If not I think someone will gladly do a whdload for you...

A track loader started out of startup-sequence? That's brave! I hope you are always aware which blocks are used by DOS and which by the track loader.

BTW, I tried 512k+512k with standard Kickstart 1.3 and I'm getting out of memory (error 103) while loading "h". Tested with UAE and MiniMig.

Looking at the header there are two Chip RAM segments with a total of 433K and four any-RAM segments with a total of 459K. Might be tight. 1MB Chip works.

Balls! I didn't see your comment. Sorry I wasn't ignoring you. When I have guests on the stream I sometimes miss chat messages because I focus my attention on the guests and playing the game so some messages slip through the cracks especially if I am not mentioned @AmigaBill - that highlights the message and makes it easier for me to catch. Even if you did do the mention, it is very possible I miss it anyway but I try my best and need more practice. I agree, a good gory sound would be awesome! Some nice flesh cutting slice & dice

Anyways, looks fantastic, really nice artstyle.

2 questions, probably answered elsewhere or on stream, apologies if so ..

Is there to a be a boxed version, polyplay did a decent job of Inviyya so hopefully they pick this up to.

Did you remove head choppy blood splatter for tech reasons or is it simply not implemented yet? Seem to recall in the dev thread it was to be gray due to limitations.

No, I didn't include splatter, to be honest..:
I think if it were gray, I'd have the next brigade of people parading in front of my door with "NEED RED BLOOD" signs... lol

I have a weird little technical idea how to get at least red blood into the game, but I that will be a "nice to have", if and when everything else works...

And yes, there is a boxed version in development by Poly.Play for this one.

Are you thinking of adding any more moves?

If so the classic back slash from moonstone I think would be ideal in this game

What would that achieve that you cannot do with the "tools" you have right now to kill an enemy?


Btw, here is what I could single out as the biggest issues people had from all the feedback since yesterday:

* bosses need their own health bar
* the "slash lines" are too static and too massive.
* Head chop needs a different sound

How do you guys think?

It's very tight on memory with a 512k chip 512k fast setup. It does work if you disable extra drives.
