Search option is only available from main menu. Once a game is selected you need to go back to main menu to search? afaik
Old hol search option is accessible when a game is selected from the top menu Either way. I'll be using old hol until the new skin is hopefully made... My bad... seems the hamburger button brings the menu down for search function anytime... Would be nice to have an open search box visible all the time |

Thank you

Thanks very much. So now everyone can decide for themselves which optics they want to use. You should also link this to the current website so that people can vote directly from there. And you don't have to talk about the content, because of course you are the best. |

as much as I think this is great in some ways (like i can actually use this on my phone now) i think it's a shot on the back of those using retro browsers and i feel like a database like this should be accessible on old hardware like Amiga so to me its not that it looks bad rather that new technologies in use have rendered impossible to view on platforms that were enjoyed by many
other than that i am very positive about this change except for the merging of Lore, apov and agtw into it which were all sites that never made an ounce of sense to me, they always felt like they were designed by a gorilla with adhd and the content is all over the place |

you are mistaken codyjarrett clearly said this is a separate site, so if you go to old hol you will have an outdated database that isnt maintained anymore this isnt really a choice more like a pacifier to put in the mouth of those who are having a tantrum

more feedback as promised
Hello again.
I had a further look at the new HOL (still like it a lot) and discovered one thing, that might need some change. There is weird inconsistency in design choice between tabs, when I look at the game entry (I chose to look at Lotus Turbo Challenge 2). I really like the "Reviews" Tab, where every second line is darker. It's nice and pleasant to read, helps to find what you want faster. When I look at the "Information" Tab, the design is different. It's still transparent, pleasant to the eye and readable, but I would suggest to make all tabs look consistent (changing the tabs to the look where every second line is darker, so just like in "Reviews" Tab) . Extra info (if it's relevant): I did not test the new look on the phone...yet. |

Looks good.. I like the additions.
My achievments are not accurate. I deffo have more than 1 post on EAB I've also contributed to HOL.. Not sure it is a lot, but I should have at least a point again edit: In the unreleased can there be an option to "View All Games", and if clicking on an individual letter place arrows to quickly go to the next/previous character (a --> b) Last edited by BippyM; 20 July 2023 at 18:47. |

According to the contributors list here you didn't contribute anything: https://amiga.abime.net/hol-team
Seems like there was a problem when transferring the contribution data. I'm sure Cody will have a look at it so you can get your achievements |

Old age creeping in I feel. |
