If I understand the technical docs correctly, it says the microprocessor in the dongle is driven directly from Amiga's 3,58 MHz clock (which is NTSC subcarrier frequency). That is the reason for my question. Also, with the Toaster being NTSC only, it would not surprise me this dongle revision was designed solely for the US market.

I wasn't aware the Toaster was NTSC only and in that case, since -03 is designed specifically for the Toaster, it wouldn't make sense to buy it for PAL machines. It might still be usable as a plain RGB-VGA adapter though.
