@THERAVEN
Sorts that one out then ![]() Let us know when you get a new Amiga Scart lead and if all the problems are resolved..... especially connected to your plasma TV. I do like happy endings ![]() @patrik My memory is rusty ![]() Thanks for the info! ![]() Was the RGB (pins) on Amiga connector 75 Ohms? Can't remember what way round the Ohms is on Composite In / Sync either. Not mentioned in the link you provided. Just curious that's all ![]() |

@quahappy:
Yeah, the r, g, b and composite sync signals are video-signals and are thus made for being sent through coaxial cabling with 75Ohms caracteristic impedance. These signals are also terminated with 75Ohms resistors tied to ground in the TV or monitor at the other end, matching the impedance of such cabling to avoid signal reflection. Thanks patrik for answering my query. Glad to know I'm not going senile yet!
I do miss them "home electronic hobby" days, but cables and the like are so much more simplified and standard these days (as well as everything else), I find it easier and cheaper to buy them..... or my main reason is that I've just lost interest ![]() |

You are right in requesting help in your recent Installing Hard Drive thread. I'm sure if you ask within your thread on how to format HD's, etc. some one will be willing to help you and explain how to do it step by step? Unfortunately I've never had a HD with any of my Amiga's, or any other, so can't help you in that respect.
Have a look at this. This tells you what the purpose of WHDLoad is and how to get it up and running. Sorry I can't be of any further help. ![]() |
