i know what you mean: why not a plug and play emulator install, which runs the same on whichever machine. However, the extreme tweakability of all amiga types prevents one single 'does it all' final install solution. That's why there are so many guides. One caters the aga chipset amiga lobers' another the ocs amiga type' and so on

This is already there. When you run WinUAE for the first time you see the Quickstart menu. There you can choose the Amiga model you want to emulate and if you do so everything else is set up automatically for you.

Note that there is not one "The Amiga Configuration". WinUAE emulates every existing Amiga model and there are as many different configurations as there are real hardware combinations. The number is almost infinite.
