Seem's he's really determined to drag this out as long as possible. Only refunded me half of what I'm owed. Seems to be following a similar pattern to your story. Have contacted him yet again... poor show indeed.

The website has completely ******* disappeared now. I did a google search and found his Facebook pages which all seem to have been removed too. I never did get my full refund - still owed a boxed version of DOpus which he kept promising was due to be published 'soon'.
You were spot on - what a ******* shyster |

Sorry to hear you lost money with the too, I never received my book and game, no reply to my e-mails and now it seems they have completely gone. I hate to think of how much money I have lost on Amiga scams

Who else has ripped you off?
Sad times when people are doing this to us. It spoils it for everyone. |

It is over 6 years since the project "Tel me more" became through "Tel me at least something" to "Rather don't tel anything more". Even more sad that the 27 thousands USD scam came from once higly respected scene celebrity

Poor forme indeed. It looks like it didn't make its 28 grand target, so isn't it more than likely to not get made?

Target was 38911 (obvious number, he comes from C64), but he chosen to accept the money even if the target is not met. Then he delivered few demos of his songs (that were already published elsewhere before) then stopped communication. Like this amiga.net / bitronic. Traited 700 backers.

Wow, never heard of this one. Guy seems like a class A prick.
What's even more amazing that some people have still believed in his con, despite it dragging on for seven years. |

This is not the first time something similar happened, so I'm starting to be skeptical of crowdfunding. Steam has the same problem with early access, where you pay for being a beta tester for a product that may not even get finished. I don't think I'm going to preorder ever again. If I spend my money, I'll just spend it on something that's already finished/available. |

Its not like you get it cheaper for backing it either. The released item is typically the same price.
