Heroes of Might and Magic; I'm up to "Scenario 5" in a "Campaign Game"...

This is friggin' impossible. Been trying for 2 days now, changed numerous strategies etc. but the enemy is too strong

If anyone wants to see if they can beat this; I've updated my .HDF to include saves for Scenario 2 - 5. Just download / extract this archive into "C:\WinUAE".

Just a few months ago, i've discovered this masterpiece, this outstanding work you created DamienD... what a f...ing back in time... i'm now a 50 years old boy who love to throw back in my first computer adventure. I guess you downloaded the old torrent that some fool uploaded somewhere; which is almost 3 years out of date?

Some people mentioned that when using JDownloader2 the Mega.nz 5GB daily limit is still applied...

To get around this you can also try the following:

• Use a VPN.
• Use TOR browser.
• Use Chrome in Incognito Mode.

Well this sucks big time

Late last night, I finally managed to overcome the enemy; and all castles / the whole map are mine:

...but for some reason the scenario hasn't ended

Look how strong my main character is:

So we all know that CD audio tracks don't play in ShapeShifter, see this thread for more details

I made an interesting discovery with Heroes of Might and Magic

If you go into the game preferences and untick "CD Music", then the game's internal music and sounds effects are used

So, have now updated the .HDF, please just download / extract this archive into "C:\WinUAE".

So I looked for a solution to "Scenario 5 and found one here.

Castle Ironfist



Objective: Capture Castle Ironfist

If you are playing as Lord Ironfist you’ll skip this scenario. You begin on the south side of the river with a Castle and Town from your faction. Explore the area south of the river to find another two towns.

Castle Ironfist is in the north west corner of the map. The only way to reach it is by boat or by using a Dimensional Door spell. Boats can only be made from the town directly north of your starting Castle, on the other side of the river.

Once you’ve had just enough time to explore the south side of the river the Knights will attack. They will come either through the Portal or by boat. If they sail across the river they’ll leave a boat which you can use to sail over to Castle Ironfist.

It isn’t necessary to clear out the map but you will need to have a big army to defeat Lord Ironfist at his castle.

From looking at the map above; there's a hidden castle by water at the very top left

...off to destroy that now

Edit: and there it is... ATTACK!!!

Edit 2: Jesus, I know the above said have a large army, but thought mine would be enough... probably not though, mine is on the left

Edit 3: it was enough... guess that due to my hero being sooooo strong I was ok

Scenario 6 was a breeze compared with Scenario 5; did it first go and in a couple of hours:

There is a clue at the start of Scenario 5 what you must do, it does say "Far Northwest" on the start mission briefing (looking at your screenshot)

Or is there maybe a dl for the configs only? I'm not that interested in getting lots of discs i already have, i'm just a little lazy these days regarding the creation of Winuae configs and yours seem to be well made and good working.

The walkthrough says there are 9 Scenarios, but one you don't do as it's your scenario...

Sure, I can just give you my configuration files but some of the files in my collection you won't be able to find anywhere... as these are custom ones created by me

To be honest, you should really try the complete collection
