For past couple of days playing Forza Horizon 4 on xbox.
Last night I started Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice (also on xbox, as it is free for gold members) and holly crap, what a game... At some point is just annoying with all voices in my head + all voices in this game... almost like they have conversation... scary little thing... |

I've been working on happy wheels since I got it around Christmas. I don't usually have anyone else to play with, so so far I've just done all of the Classic Modes.

Just finished The Modern Adventurer mod for Morrowind.
A quest item allowed me to top up one of my Attributes (LUCK) Cheating ? Maybe --- but I cannot raise them any other way (Level 76.8 and everything else maxed out) There is a character called 'Eiloj Anilegna' (an Actress) Pity they did not include the Angelina Jolie mod --- LOL |

Pinball FX 3 on Xbone. Really love the Bethesda tables especially Doom and the Alein themed tables.

After finishing Blades of Times (will have to play it again), made little pause. Just playing some golden arcades (Moonpatrol, Galaga, Phoenix, Scramble) on RPi and did about 20 levels of Lemmings on Amilator.

Back playing Wing Commander, this time the CD32 version. How I managed on a stock A500 I'll never know. Amazing game that balances story and gameplay so well.
Also the recent remaster (that's stretching it) of Shenmue I & II. Apparently sailors like to hang out in bars? |

Blood was for a large part developed by 3D Realms actually, Monolith basically took it over in the last minute. But still, classic game.

Was this one better than the first? I spent more time with the prequel. |

I recently started to 'compare' games. As I have a real Super Famicom and a real Amiga, I played Chaos Engine on both. Amiga version is, of course, superior. But Super Famicom-version was pretty nice, it was more colorful, the graphics were bigger (though the TV I use for that is bigger, hehe), etc.
I tried Sega Megadrive-version on an emulator, and it seemed to be much worse, or at least not quite up to par. Doing this kind of comparison-playing is quite fun! I usually play a bit of Atari 8-bit and Commodore 64-games (it's fun to compare these, too, today I compared H.E.R.O. - both versions are great fun, C64 could've been a bit more colorful) while my coffee is brewing, some Wii Balance Board games (Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 3 is quite nice) for morning exercize, and then some Alien Breed 3D on my Amiga for inspiration for my 'Doom Total Conversion' that I am planning to make (and slowly progressing in). I plan to soon play Star Trek 25th Anniversary on my old DOS PC with Yamaha's sound chip - that should be fun. But to take a break from everything, I usually play something simple and easy, like Wii Sports Tennis today, and Soul Calibur on my Dreamcast. BTW, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge musics sound incredibly 'tasty' in a way that's hard to describe, when playing the game on a DOS PC with an actual Yamaha sound chip. I was surprised as to how interesting and quirky it sounded, those musicians were geniuses. Here's a funny example, the "Mardi Gras" section I captured from the YMF 262 chip (no emulation) https://www.sendspace.com/file/0v45qx It's around 14 MB mp3-file, 320kbps quality. I captured the whole thing, it's almost 2 and a half hours of music straight! It even beats Space Quest IV, which has about 42 minutes of music. Last edited by Nishicorn; 14 February 2019 at 20:36. Street Rod, Amiga. Youtube pushed a video about a longplay my way, I was watching a couple of episodes and I just got the bug again.
When playing as a kid I had trouble with the game... because I had no clue what "pink slips" were, I thought it was just some weird way of saying to race for nothing so I never did that and basically earned all my money by doing drag (50 bucks) and road races (100 bucks). You can get quite far that way, even got to race the king a few times, but the more you win the more people will just say no so it was such a grind calling people in and trying to coax them into accepting a race... Literally hours and hours of grinding and just waiting, especially with the load times of the Amiga version. But yeah. Pink slips. Win a couple of cars, sell them and the game is suddenly so easy. After three races I was driving around in a souped up corvette with plenty of money to spare :/ |

I never played it...
Playing Moon Cresta for RGL. Otherwise, not playing any other games. I was working on setting Batocera on an older computer and just love it. Too bad WHDLoad is not working, but ADFs are working just fine for A500 and 1200 games. |
