Cheers mate, unfortunately just the usual 512kb slow-ram board in one and nothing at all in the other. They both have Rev6a mobos which is good and the second (which is much more yellowed) had a dud fdd which has now been replaced.

no, I saw it on the interweb years ago. Made me cringe too.

As my Wife brought this home, strictly speaking I did not buy it... I am paying for it though.

Indeed, although my wife is pushing me to sell the 1081, says its bad for my eyes (probably right too and do wear prism lens glasses).

I bought a 4:3 Dell lcd for my A1200 today for a cheap price

Yes the mk2 is working great on the dell lcd, i can get a nice 1280x1024 fullscreen desktop!

But games still have a border around them though and lack vsync.

I just got something cool in the mail from Poland. A revision F HxC floppy emulator from Lotharek. (I managed to get my order in just before he went on holiday).

It was really easy to install into my A2000. I just used the 3.5" to 5.25" adaptor bracket that came with my 386 bridgeboard back in the day to mount it into the 5.25" bay.

These HxC units are awesome. It works brilliantly with the Amiga, and it even has a speaker to emulate the sounds of the floppy stepper motor.
