Something new for my Handheld Console Collection

Game inside is Donkey Kong Country

Street Fighter Alpha is actually a pretty decent port!

1520 plotter, so I finally completed my rainbow set-up. Look:

Commodore 1520 plotter
Commodore 1701 monitor
Commodore 64-I
Commodore 1541
Commodore 1341 joystick
original breadbin hard dustcover
and 3rd party datasette

I have of course original C2N CBM datasette as well, but I prefer this one because of its design.

Lovely,

Just imagine how much this would have cost if you'd had bought it all together when they were first released.

When you say plotter, was it thermal or dot-matrix so not a cad style pen plotter?

1520 plotter had four color pens. Unfortunatelly they are missing in my device, otherwise fully operable.

Got an FMV unit for my Philips CDi, now I can watch films in worse quality than I can download them

But of course now I can play FMV capable Games, I have Mad Dog McCree on the way (Thanks prowler!) and I just bought the Peacekeeper Revolver, I'm reliably informed it works on Projectors and even flat screen TV's

Oh and I got an RGB-Scart lead for newly modded Master System II - Thanks ScrappySphinx!

Awesome picture quality

Yep, it sure is!

When Channel 5 was rolled out and they sent out technicians to retune everyone's video recorders' UHF modulator to avoid interference from the new channel, I asked the guy to retune my CDi player as well, which he did.

When he'd finished, he commented on what a fantastic picture it produced - actually the best he'd ever seen - and that was via the RF lead!

So this little fella arrived today courtesy of eBay:

I've got it hooked up to my Projector:

Good clear picture, very impressed only through composite! I also had to buy the FMV cartridge to play the Game. The acting is just as bad as I remember lol!

I'm having some minor issues with Gun calibration maybe due to the huge size of the display and my viewing angle due to having the projector behind me I have to sit/stand to the right or left.

Otherwise I'm having as much fun as I had back in the day playing in the arcades and I don't have to keep sinking £1 coins into it!!!

I hope you enjoy the Video

ps. Thanks again Prowler for the Game, I'm struggling a little with Mad Dog I as the Gun is badly off to the left and I cant calibrate to compensate as you can have the crosshair in MDII I can play that a little easier. I'm sure I'll figure out the calibration issue though!

You're welcome, mate!

Seeing you running it has made me want to play mine again. Hehe, I don't have any calibration issues here, as I play the game using a CDi mouse!

With that I can be a real sharpshooter when I get used to the acceleration.

Today I bought an Amiga keyboard pcb for the square amiga LEDs for my PC. They are really hard to find so I hope they connect to my PC without needing any resistors.
