Well, with Workbench you can open those drawers, but on Magellan you can't., it's like it was a project icon or something, but only there.

Edit: I've changed it in deficons to be a drawer icon (it was tool...
Why the hell did you change the type of def_disk.info to "drawer"
Partitions are disks!
Change ENVARC:Sys/def_disk.info to "DISK" and save. Then, it works as it should. But on some AmiKit releases it could also be the file ENVARC:Presets/DefIcons/def_disk.info. That depends on the scripts.

Thanks a lot PeterK. I used drawer as I had no icon as Volume to use in def icons. I guess you mean volume instead of Disk. And it's hard to make that on WinUAE using Windh_c, as it's write-protected on mine, and I was using it's icon once copied (I've used it's icon; one that I copied to it, and later disabled it to see if the one of AmiKit was working) .But thanks a lot, now it works, ... and it wasn't my fault, this is how it is in the AmiKit for PC, I've changed it in both places.

It depends on the tool that you use for changing the icon type. Sometimes it is called "Volume" and in other cases it's the type "Disk". For programmers it's called "WBDISK".

If you have problems with write-protected files in WinUAE, it may help to delete the "_UAEFSDB.___" file in the Windows directory

That's another... I don't have any tool to change the icon type, so I have to go making drawers and copying icons from another. Well, anyway I dont think I will need it any more.

In Magellan you can use Information and then call Edit for getting the icon into IconEdit and there you can change the Type to "Disk" and save.

Thanks. In information you can select between Device (selected, and it's a volume, so another word apart of Disk), Drawer, Tool, Project and Trashcan.

Don't you agree yet that Magellan is the most complete OS?

Not just this, I'm tired on WB to be opening drawers and changing them to view as name, change to see them all, opening another, the same... opening another... the same... With Magellan once you select it, they all are shown by name, AND in the same drawer...

Offtopic, sorry.

No, that's because I want you to re-write the graphics.library (freudian slip).

I prefer to use DOpus 4 for all the file handling. I don't like the DOpus5 GUI. But that's just my personal likes and dislikes.

@NovaCoder
You're funny...
There are already two other versions of the graphics.library, one from Cosmos and one from Don_Adan http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=62731

But I'm using none of them yet.
What changes would you like to have? Is Don_Adan refusing anything that you want?

Incredible speed with 256 colors. When I had my B1260 it was taking much more... that was the time when we where using Iconbefast and so to try to speed it, but not as much as it is now with .... anything but this library.

Yes I have been looking at Don's progress with interest.

All I want is bug-fixed, optimized versions of the original libraries with some additional features added.....that's not too much to ask is it?

Thanks a lot, NovaCoder
I've downloaded it now.

I think that Don_Adan could do the job, but it's really a big piece of work, much more than the icon.library and I'm still not finished with it.

Just tested it as well on my A600's ClassicWB 3.9 @ 8 colors (MWB palette) and it looks as sleek as before.

I think some icons are displaying better in my setup than the previous version.
(Like for example Fred Flinstone in the following screenshot).

Hi mfilos,

as long as you didn't convert your icons into the OS 3.5 format then your PNG and OS4 icons could now have some small changes along threir border where the alpha channel usually fades from the icon RGB colors to the background. I'm using two levels with 75 % RGB and 50 % RGB color now before switching to tramsparency (that was 50% and 25 % before).

Thanks to fitzsteve, too.
