More serious comment: check you dont have any binaries requiring an FPU or MMU running.
Examples: Enforcer, MMULib, datatypes, etc. Edit: oops i missed that OP is using a plain 68k + Fastmem. In that case you wont have these issues, but its a thing to keep in mind if switching from a 030+68882 for example. |

the vampire sits directly into the cpu socket using long pins, the original cpu is not needed as of course the v500 is now the new cpu
The wifi module will need drivers (if you build it, they will come) Last edited by kipper2k; 09 December 2016 at 17:14. |

Long story short, when I install the Vampire II, will it *replace* that 1MB mod and provide a new, faultless 1MB (or 2MB) of chipmem to my Rev 5 A500? (I can't see any specs on the official page mentioning chipmem, only "memory".) |

I currently own the Plipbox and can email and web from my A500 (see signature ). With that Wi-Fi card, would it be a straight swap for the Plipbox? Could I unplug my ethernet cable and the Plipbox, and use the Wi-Fi card you show instead, or would I need to reinstall and reconfigure all the drivers etc. (which frankly was a pain in the bum)?
