My 1084S-D1 arrived today

Everything is so much crisper than on my CRT TV or LCD.

Now to find someone to fix my 1084S-D so that I can hook it up to my A500

Well I didn't buy it but my brother kindly gave me one of his super nintendos...

I was pretty chuffed as it's in great condition and I haven't had a go on the real hardware for many years. After the Amiga the Snes was my fav machine of all time.

I did pick up a flash cart for the snes though...

After playing about with getting the right games I'd say most titles work great on the superufo pro 8.

I also just picked up a multitap on ebay (sadly not the cool bomberman one as that goes for crazy prices) so will be doing some good old retro multiplayer bomberman and micro machines in the near future.

A keyboard replacement from Amigakit.

What I don't like is the % of discount they make:
"Customer Loyalty Discount:You have spent €1,040.33 with us so qualify for a discount of 1.0%: €0.19"

Yes, of course . But I guess if it was just 1 euro for each 1000 spent it would be something better

I found an unopened, boxed copy of cd version of Beneath A Steel Sky today at my local op shop. Was only $3, so Im pretty happy about it

Im a bit of a collector of SCUMMVM games (and other games that have interpretors/engines available for amiga-oid systems), so that's another one off the list

Well I got some more freebies...

A mate of mine that I haven't spoken to for ages phoned me up and said he was ditching all his amiga games (seeing as all his old amigas had died) and said I could take them all. He gave me the above big box games plus he's also apparently got a couple bin bags full of loose disks.

I've already got all the big box games that I wanted but I thought I'd save all of them from the tip!

I've never even heard of Dragons Breath??

If I'm totally honest I've still never heard of the game? lol ...looks like it had some good reviews too!

Also I never previously owned Beneath a Steel Sky before so was pretty shocked to see 15 disks in the box (I thought monkey island 2 was bad enough)! lol

I'll post what goodies are in the bin bags full of disks when I get them - although I predict most will just be music samples and mods as all my mate did was create music on the amiga.

Really??

The only reason he had a load of games was because he kept buying amiga's cheap from newspaper classifieds (for his music production when the previous amiga's died) but they all came with the games and disks.

I did tell my mate that you'd get a few quid for the the games on ebay but he just wanted to get rid of them (his girlfriend was nagging him about all his old clutter) and he couldn't be bothered to sell them.

Oh... nice ones there

The disks from 3D Construction Kit would be interesting for HOL as a scan and the box from Lure of the Temptress too Would be great if you could scan them
