Thanks! Seems reasonable enough. That's good to know.
Would you suspect I'd need to change the oscillator prior to trying to use this in PAL mode? https://gitlab.com/MHeinrichs/multifix-aga I appreciate the help |

With that one you would definitely want to make the machine into a full PAL system. Or you could keep it as NTSC and help Matze test it on a genuine NTSC machine.

Cool cool. The oscillator was simple enough to find and cheap as well. Guess I'm going full PAL conversion. Sorry, not gonna be the guinea pig this time :P Thx for the help!

Exactly what it says.
The first is unrecoverable, while the second is (usually) recoverable, hasn't trashed part of memory of other programs etc. |

Including me. I briefly had one (borrowed by computer shop waiting for my A4000/040). I would choose my A500 or an A1200 10 out of 10 times. I hate TKL keyboards too, so this didn't help either. The last computer I excused for this was my C64. |

Not specifically an Amiga question but someone here probably knows the answer to this.
How was integer multiplication implemented on the 68060 relative to earlier 68K processors? |

Does using a 4 bitplane 640x128 screen mode use up the same amount of chipset bandwidth as 4 bitplane 320x256 mode on OCS 500/1000/2000 etc?

That's not right though. There are software failure messages that are recoverable. In fact it is the first digit (I think) of the error code that specifies if it is 0 (recoverable) or 1 (unrecoverable). My friend has a A500 that gets SOFTWARE FAILURE on boot up then recovers and still boots. |
