I need this because my installer version does not support using any drawers, only df0/df1.. and since I'm trying to use the .ipf file I'm not going very far with installing snowbros on my A1200..
I tried installerNG also, but it was as bad, it didn't even ask where to get the files.. yes i tried the expert mode..

thanks!

If you're running OS3.9 you have the latest installer, there's no place else to find it my friend than on OS3.9

You are right about that Fortunately I was pointed to the fact that to install an .ipf file you have to use 'select file' option when it is asking for a disk.
Anyway, we can go back to the topic now

Don't junk yours Galahad. The logic behind your version sounded spot on, I'm sure you spent a bit of time on it plus would be cool to see it in action

Well now I finally got to play the WHdload version (I installed the one thats on whdload.de page); and it works without any problems on my A1200 (020 processor)

What a great conversion that is! We had the original snow bros arcade game at the housemarque, and I played it quite a bit, so I can say quite confidently that this is the best arcade conversion I have ever seen for the amiga.. that they didn't release this was a travesty but sadly not suprising for me (considering how ignorant all the game publishers I've met have been..)

But anyway, I'm real glad this one is now out. It really deserves to be released. Great job guys!!

Only diffrence on IPF and crack, is nr. of disks. A AGA fixed version would of course be nice

Most excellent Galahad

If you don't mind me asking, how did you manage to squeeze everything onto just 1 ADF?

I haven't yet, I'm 5k over, I'm trying to preserve it as an AmigaDOS files disk, but thats looking unlikely.

Plus at the moment, because of VERY tight memory usage, I'm thinking of making it 1meg only, but once the intro has done its thing, the rest of the game will load all in one go into extra ram and the game will run from there and won't touch the disk again.
