Just had a sneak early peak of the WIP game dvd but currently there is no feedback thread so I'll post here.

It's looking every bit as good as the first offering - great menu's, design and artwork. The only downside was the instant urge to plug in a joystick to my DVD player in order to start the games, which obviously isn't possible!

It'll be worth the wait guys!

I can't download from Amiga Nostalgia, either. Is there an alternate download location? Can someone post it to Usenet?

Game DVD...

Hello bippy again...

thanks for the Sneak Preview for the Game DVD

The quality is very good - as always. Will this be a INTRO DVD only? I would suggest to include at least a few minutes of ingame sequences to each intro - that you really relive the spirit of the games. From the intros only - it's hard to remember the gameplay. Whereas the full game play cannot be presented in 2 minutes (in special for the strategic games like Powermonger) it would nethertheless a nice add-on to see how the games looked like.

In the planning status is a Retro-Exhibition at my home town in late August. If you don't mind I would like to include a "special Scene Section" running your Demo DVD on TV....

Are you familiar with the PC Demo DVD created by one of my friends: www.mindcandydvd.com?

Resolution

Just a quick note. If you use WinUAE as source for the DVD you should use a 352 × 288 pixels resolution, as this is an dvd accepted resolution which should produce non interlaced output on most dvd players, and so we´d get real scanlines in our old CRT TV´s which, at least for me, would make everything look a lot more faithfull to the real Amiga video output.

Edit: forget it, I just noticed DVD standart doesn´t support 50 fps. So the only way are 25 interlaced fields
