At the time I wished there was X-Wing, Tie Fighter, Battle Isle II, Settlers II, Jagged Aliance, TFTD, DOTT, Sam and Max hit the road, Wing Commander II, Civilization II and the Dig for Amiga.

But got all of those games as soon as I moved to PC.

And one I couldn't think possible on Amiga - AH-64D Longbow - liked this sim a lot when I got it on my P200. That was big jump from Gunship 2000.

Z had nice cut scenes, but gameplay was horrible. (At least IMHO)

Just a bit later we got Total Annihilation, great RTS.

games which would of been possible on the Amiga.

LHX attack chopper.
Wolfenstein 3d (for the CD32 at least)
Warcraft 1 & 2, most probably would of needed a 030,AGA,4mb fast to run.
Blackthorne
Pitfall

I agree, Z gameplay wasn't good. In fact it was flawed if I remember correctly.

@StrategyGamer - Thanks for the info. I didn't know Star Wars was released for the Amiga.. I played that particular one in the Arcades.. A lot of fun too. Look at the size of that thing.

Blackthorne - should have been released. Similiar to Flashback, not as good though.

@Retro:

My shame!

I fuzzed remember playing it. Think was on Amiga.

The truth is I played it nowadays in a "second edition" compiled for winblows.

Id say LucasArts X-Wing,

As I dimly remember massive flamewars in the Amiga newsgroups on Usenet as to whether it was technically possible to implement the game on the Amiga.

Anyone still browse the Amiga newsgroups?

Well, I loved to see Magic Candle I-II-III on Amiga. In the manual of the C64 version of MMI, there are some credits about the Amiga version, but I never saw it around

The song was loosely based on some new age synth song but I can't remember the name. Anyway the game music is much better than the original.

Doom.

It was the game that, arguably, killed the miggy. Well, that and Commodore's utter incompetence.
