How about a more generic disclaimer/policy that most people can agree on?

The unofficial BoingBag does not condone or support any acts of violence, aggression, war, political propaganda, spying or espionage.

Looks ok and neutral.
A few more votes and you are probably good with it ;-)

There's an autotranslation of the official "OS3.9 Das Buch" (OS3.9 The Book) at http://amigan.1emu.net/aw/dasbuche.zip which includes Genesis configuration instructions, though I'm not sure if they cover your particular situation.

GenesisPrefs can be found in the Internet/Genesis/ directory.

I can not find AsyncWB 45.23 anywhere. ( http://amiga-mania.orgfree.com/Patchs/OS_Patchs.html )

Does anyone have it?

The version installed witch boingbag2 (45.22) seems to have a nasty bug. (might be related with one of the settings enabled within user-startup but haven't checked yet )

When you press Amiga + E to open the execute window, the window is active but the text field is not active. If you start typing before you click and activate the text field, AmigaOS freezes. You have to first choose the text field to be able to type anything.

If you have already typed something there and pressed enter, this bug no longer occurs.

Maybe the newer version have this bug fixed... Or maybe even it's only a problem with my configuration and not a bug. Will need to test more.

EDIT: Fixed the problem. Some files inside Classes drawer were overwritten by older ones from ClassAct. I replaced them from Boingbag2.

There is a new improved intuition.library from Cosmos that looks very interesting http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=67146 . Could you add it to BB4? I mean, running the patch (I suposse that different if using WinUAE or real thing) and changing the s-s.

Also I didn't know about http://aminet.net/package/util/wb/clvrwin that he comments.

At the moment it causes a weird problem with Vinced prefs from OS3.9 on my system. The prefs window (from sys: prefs/) opens squashed. I have informed Cosmos about this problem but I'm not sure whether it's specific to my system or it happens for everybody.

I think I used clrwin back in the days when I had my A4000T (will receive it back again soon!).

Maybe at some point in the future; as has been mentioned the current version has bugs, some of his other components have also had to be removed in the past for the same reason.

I'll have a look at it...

Can someone using bb3&4 check to see if UnArc has problems unarchiving the following file:

http://aminet.net/package/dev/mui/MC...erString-11.28

Here it gives an error message in each directory (because an empty file without a name seems to be there)

I wonder if it's bb3&4 or something else that's causing this.

UnArc is just a front end for XAD and AFAIK it lacks proper support for UNIX lha archives - They still extract OK but clicking through all the messages is tedious. All archives from the MUI Open Source Team are in this format, including MUI3.9.
There is an updated external client for OS4 that might fix this problem, it includes source so maybe somebody could compile it for OS3...

I think I have found a few files inside my old 4000T harddrive (named Blackhole for a reason) that have higher version than those inside boingbag3+4.

Can we get the BBs in a git repository? This would all be a lot easier. And yes, git supports binaries.
