The sprites in Ruff n' Tumble are all in sep locations, you'll need to search for each sprite on its own

Ok I'm not smart enough to use this it seems It's like manually searching channels on an old television, I didn't catch the signal so far. Can you guys help me rip the character sprites and perhaps some enemies out of Alcatraz?

I'll have a play now pxscroll
Edit: Here are some sprites, all of them are there though they are at odd offsets so each ind sprite needs ripping alone and then all putting on a sprite sheet once ripped Last edited by BippyM; 24 March 2005 at 22:28. |

map tiles are really easy...
btw: sprites which have to be rip each one is the fact that they have different heights...nothing other...this saves memory that is really rare on an amiga... |

Hey thanks bippy I wasn't expecting a response that quick because I spent a longer time without a result. Did you figure out using this tool by yourself or by reading tomcat's explanation? I followed his guidelines and used common sense but that wasn't enough it seems.

@bip
Background color blends into the character contours, still I can fix this with some manual work but this is to be used in a real (non commercial) project (with references and full credits) so I'll try to rip as much gfx out of alcatraz as possible and I don't want to bother you with my problems for long. An alcatraz oriented step by step explanation would be just what I'm looking for. Thanks again. |

The RuffNTumble MapTiles are online at :
http://asrp.syntheticsw.com/rips/RuffNTumble/ Shezzor uses Sprites from R&T in his Remake: http://www.blitzcoder.com/cgi-bin/sh...18&comments=no Download the zip file and unzip it. Then look at the gfx dir. |

Don't bother with pxscroll. As I said in this thread, there are better ways to use him!

syntheticsw - It is for Shezzor that I am asking. He has been taking screen shots from WinUAE to get the sprites as we can't find them using gfxrip and it's a long process
Thanks |

Assassin sprites are similar to Ruff`n`tumble in that the sprites are of different heights(even for the same character) also, Risky woods main sprite is made up of different heights.Can anyone help with Agony or Leander as psygnosis games are a bitch to rip cos of their habit of duel playfields or paralax!

Is anyone able to rip the Lionheart Intro graphics with gfxRip 1.04.. i tried but seems only garbage on my screen.
I am looking forward to convert several amiga intros into macromedia flash, so you can watch those little intros in your webbrowser.. so it would be very usefull to have the original sprites. thanks in advance |
