Retroplay, you are indeed a true Miggy Gentleman! Thank you, from all of us newbies out there

One question of intererest: Looking through your very very extensive gamepack, I get curious as to what your criterias for selecting which games to pack have been? Most of my own belowed favorites are there and that's so nice. But some, like Moonstone and IK+ are not there. So, I was just wondering how you pick and choose, which ones to include and/or exclude?

All best,
Anders

I only add new and updated games/demos/magazines to the ftp.

All the older installs can be downloaded from WHDownLoad.

You can also grab my whole WHDLoad packs from ~Uploads/Turran. They contain Retroplays games and from other sources. Moonsstone is in there for sure.

Speaking of which, its time for an update soon. Been a while...

Bring it on! ;-)

Tried to install Moonstone and IK+ from WHD but theres something wrong with my RawDic I think. At least it keeps asking to input install disk 1 (which I obviously do not have)...

Should I continue using NewIcons or should I switch to OS3.5+ icons now that PeterK's icon.library allows these to be displayed on non OS3.5/OS3.9 systems ?

[edit]

15 old games added to FTP, for reasons unknown they seem to have vanished.

Btw, the question above still applies.

Are there any reason why you don't have uploaded the latest whdloadintalled version of The Settlers on the FTP?

It's back again, I have no clue why they disappeared from the ftp in the first place.

[edit]
I possibly forgot to move all files from the old Magix FTP.. D'oh!

I would vote for NewIcons as default. You may add OS3.5+ Icons optional if you like and it isn`t too much work.

It seems LhA 2.15 is bugged.

LhA 2.11 managed to successfully archive all 50468 files to .lha archive.

v2.15 extracts the file fine though.

I have zoned the freshly squeezed lha.

Idk you'd have to ask the author/maintainer of LhA for that.

If you downloaded any of the Flashback archives yesterday, then please redownload the new ones I just upped to ftp.

I forgot to pack files as data and I noticed a lot of unnecessary was in the archives, such as imploder.lib and cracktros from the fan translated games.
All of this is fixed now.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I have a request.

I noticed some of the archives are LHA archived, others Zip'd.

Would it be possible, going forward, to have them all in one format?

Reason I ask, is because with Dopus it craps out if you select multiple archives to unarchive at once if they are two different formats. It will try to process a .zip as a lha file and vice versa if the previous file was a different compression format. Select a bunch of LHA files and then a zip one. It goes through all the LHA files fine and as soon as it hits the zip file, it kicks out an archive error. I guess because it is still trying to unLha a zip'd file.

I guess Dopus won't switch decompression systems on the fly with multiple archive types selected.

Awesome work on the whdload packs though. Love them.

TestDrive2&DataDisks_v1.0_0588-0591.zip is wrongly named. The archiv includes SPS 818 European Challenge too.
