Hi all - just received a notification about posts on here so thought I'd write to say that my collection has expanded a bit more since my last post - will edit the original with details once I get chance!

@mr.vince
I've not sent anything yet. Will get some over, but wanting to find a way of making sure we are not all imaging the same software. Then again, I guess other than time, there is no real harm if we are. Just a point for anyone with a HD in their acorn. If you want to image that and use it with arculator, you can literally just plug the HD into your PC with a USB to IDE convertor (or straight in if you can), and use DD either in Linux, or I used a windows version, and the image works perfectly with Arculator. I didnt realise until I tried it how seamless the HD images work in Arculator. One thing if your about Tom, for my personal preference, can I stop arculfs starting up every time? Thanks |

Cool, thought that from the readme, but didn't want to mess things up.
Kryoflux is on its way to you, not sure why Royal Mail are taking so long, but will send you tracking number too, so you can track it. Thanks |

Hi Tom - you sent me a link to a test version of Arculator that you wanted me to try out on my HP laptop to see if it solved the keyboard mapping issues (was probably about 6 months ago now!) - could you send me it again and I'll give it a go. Cheers!

OK, I have an emulator related problem I can't seem to solve.
I have downloaded the latest RPCEmu, copied RO3.5 off of my RPC, and DD'd my HD. For some reason though the emulator keeps showing 'Broken Directory'. I tried downloading a pre-prepared image too, and still the same. Any suggestions for this? |

It's a nice machine, but yes, 'a bit expensive' is putting it mildly.
I won a fully working A5000 for £17.00 (local pickup) on eBay a couple of years ago. |

Ebay prices seem to vary wildly for Archimedes machines. I've seen A3020s go from anywhere between £50 and £150.

Hi, My first post here. Hoping someone can advise. I dug out my old discs for "The 4th Dimensions" Enter the Realm, only to find that the first disc had a lot of invalid sectors . Discs 2 and 3 are fine. Anyone know if there is an image of disc 1 anywhere? I know APDL are selling a compilation but I'm a bit reluctant to pay again. I managed to open the Readme file on disc 1 which states I have Version 2 of the game. Thanks in advance!

Joined up for this thread, Owned about 5 different Archi's/RiscPc's over the years but finally settled on a VirtualAcorn SA emulator running 6.20 which is very good.
Anyway just wanted to say I have a original copy of Ankh - Tales of Mystery CD Version which I could Image if anyone's interested. Also putting together a BBC Econet network but thats for another thread Fantastic work on getting a half decent archive together. EDIT: AA has apd's, TOSEC does not. I sit corrected. Have a load more stuff now that I should be imaging in about a weeks time (have a busy week at work, then will start on them).
Some more titles that I have not seen in a long time such as Dominate, Days of Steam, Hostages, Enthar 7, Guild of Theves, Maddingly Hall, Fred, Rise in Crime and many many more!! These are all copies so no good for SPS, but quite a few look like they have been unprotected. Just hope the discs are still readable. Watch this space!!
