The Zorro boards I have already tested are on the Wiki.
Which board doesn't work for you? Is it a Supra Corp board? |

according to the Wiki - none of Your Zorro II RAMcards is recognized, wich is correct (Zorro autoconfig isn't working on RC1 firmware) You should use early Beta FW to be able to use Zorro II RAM boards on A2000

For the GVP HC+8 I stated:
Both 2&4MB Configs tested, no more RAM to try 6MB. No Spare SCSI Drives to test Disk Controller. I have edited Page to state OK. I guess it might not be too clear. Last edited by kgc210; 28 April 2018 at 20:21. |

If that board doesn't work it might be down to hard coding of the memory space? Will be good to update the Wiki with working / non working boards. |

What about the SPI firmware?
I tried the updated SPI firmware (beta) from about 23 / 27th Feb this year. But that resulted in a red screen on boot. |

Interestingly I was able to narrow down the Frontier crash issue on RC1/RC2/SPI, it only occurs when there is a CF card connected. Without a CF card connected it can run for hours.

I am booting the original floppy version using ISSI ram. No CF card, no crash. With CF card crash within 10-15 mins. I wrote about this a few posts ago.

When I boot from floppy, I see what you see - but I haven't tried it without a CF card. |

Testing I have done so far, these are all with a REV 3 at 33Mhz with Aliance RAM and the SPI firmware.
Frontier running over night from floppy with no CF Card (approx 8hrs) Frontier running from floppy with CF Card attached for 30mins. Systest memory test left running for over an hour. Workbench runs with no graphics corruptions. The board hasn't crashed out. |
