I also think that your icon.library is one of the most useful pieces of software made for the Amiga in the last I don't know how many years - hats off

Anyone else attempted to build icon.library?

I have the OS includes, and CGraphX-DevKit, but I don't know bout the LVO. Using PhxASS

(and yeah, I will attempt to modify "gray scale" to do monochrome icons instead, hehe)

I'm on WB 3.1 and trying to use last version of IconLib 46.4 with TinyLauncher 3.52...TinyLauncher requires NewIcons for Tooltypes. Now with the old icon.library 40.1 everything works perfectly...If I load iconLib 46.4 (tried both with Setpatch + LoadModule string and with Setpatch 44) each time i activate Tooltypes in TinyLauncher Amiga crashes both on WinUAE and on real Amiga 1200. Is there a solution for that? I'd really like to use this new icon.library. Thanks.

Maybe TinyLauncher should be updated to not rely on NewIcons.

TinyLauncher 3.52 is released without icon, what icon are you using? To activate IconLib 46.4 on OS 3.1 you installed the right procedure? You can manage icons such as Dual-PNG or OS4, see my screenshot.

I'm on CWB ADVSP and using a simple "Space Invaders" icon included in a former release of TinyLauncher... Of course I activated IconLib 46.4 with the right procedure (Setpatch+LoadModule string in Startup-Sequence or Setpatch 44)...

CWB ADVSP uses a Scalos based Workbench that uses its own specific Icon.library and a different management of the Workbench Standard. One of the simplest solutions is to replace the TinyLauncher icon with one that is compatible with your system or convert it. I haven't tried the new Icon.library on this system yet, if you attach the icon, your Startup-sequence and the user-startup I can do some testing and be more precise.

Hi AMIGASYSTEM, the one which i uploaded is my standard startup-sequence, the one which works...I already tried to update CWB ADVSP to PeterK's icon.library via the install script under MyFiles/Install/Icons...With this configuration TinyLauncher 3.52 still crashes if I activate tooltypes... That's not the procedure, read Peter's quote and you'll understand why.
In the attached link there is an archive created by Peter, once unpacked you have to overwrite all the files on your system with those included in the archive, in your case you just have to add in the new startup-sequence the command listed below that you had in your startup-sequence.

ACATune -maprom * -cache on -burst on >NIL:

Important! for safety before the operation make a backup of your Hardfile

You probably didn't overwrite everything, as you can see from my screenshot to me it worked. This morning I installed ex-novo ClassicWB ADVSP and once overwritten everything worked fine.

Tried and tested with ClassicWB-FULL and also here no problem
