We need a CD32+TF328 version of something like ClassicWB or BetterWB.
Can someone who knows about such things set up a wiki page where we can maintain a list of Essential Things To Install On Your TF328? |

After a time with too much work i installed supadupas Rom (many, many thanks!), bought a DB23 to Scart cable and made a CF card with OS 3.9 and WHDLoad. But when I put the riser card (a Kipper riser card from kgc210) into the CD32 (I taped the metal cage) i get no scart signal (only a very short green screen when i reset) and the CD inside doesnt turn.
Can someone give me a hint what i can do? |

Check the closure !!
Even to me it happens when closing the cd32 crashes a bit and the riser does not make contact Kipper riser has red plastic piece printed in 3d crushing riser !!! it may be necessary to cover it slightly because it flexes the card In fact, if you do not close the cd32 it works fine The problem is that the riser flexes and does not contact well You have to find the right compromise You have to go for trial and it's a matter of a few millimeters Last edited by cip060; 26 November 2017 at 12:47. |

Also might be worth trying without the scart and use composite or s-video |

What can be done with TF328 to improve compatibility with IDE devices?
I have now tried a range of old CF cards and adaptors (plus DOMs, disk and whatnot), and so far, only one CF card seem to work, an ancient 64MB SanDisk. The new 16GB SanDisk CF "ultra" cards I bought for the TF328 do not work (boot partition shows up in early-startup, but refuses to boot from it). All these devices and cards work just fine on SX32 Pro, A1200, A600 etc. |

My plan is to move away from IDE and use SATA instead long term as its free buffering and devices are easier to find. EDIT: What i would suggest though is to keep cable lengths to the absolute min. cabling longer than the usual 2" is not likely to work. Last edited by plasmab; 26 November 2017 at 17:42. |

You guys are right, the 16GB SanDisk card is NOT compatible! How odd. The 4GB and 8GB Sandisk Ultra cards work great however. Transcend 2GB works too but not 512M.
Basically this behaviour is identical to what happens with the TF530. The machine doesn't even boot with the 16GB sandisk plugged in. |

plasmab: here you go: https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-Ult...sk+16+GB+Ultra
I tried to add it to the github page but I get a 404 error. |

I've been playing with my TF328 for a little over 2 weeks now and wrote up a rambling of my experiences over on lemon amiga but without going into all that here I just wanted to post a quick message to say a massive thank you to Mr TerribleFire for all his hard work here. I truely believe this expansion makes the CD32 the ultimate classic Amiga gaming experience. Say what you will but the console is in my opinion the best way to kick back in front of the big screen and enjoy classic amiga. All I need now is a means to map the mouse to the CD32 controller so I can use that to navigate workbench.
Just for anyone who is interested I stuck an old 2gb IDE drive in her last night with Sysinfo and got the following result (apologies for the poor picture) And one question, if I may, although not directly related to the TF328 but would it be feasible to implement a floppy port to the riser card for use with an external floppy drive? Not that its really necessary but the thought crossed my mind last night so thought I'd ask. |
