I played through Arachnophobia today... whenever people will complain about 'poor ST colours' I know that I will tell them it could be worse, it could be an EGA conversion like in this case

I'm on "C" - Candy Crush Saga. Just got past level 165 after being stuck on it for a week! Sodding annoyingly addictive game.... still.
On the Amiga I've been playing another puzzler: Cubulus. Think I'm glutton for punishment..... |

To be fair I also finished Banshee with CrazyOne today... which is a bloody great game and made up for that Arachnophobia disaster easily

just doing the battle of bunker hill (assassins creed 3 - xbox 360).
as much as I love Amiga games I have to say that modern games 'sometimes' really amaze me, Assassins creed 3 is a prime example of computer game excellence in my opinion - a true gem. |

Funny how you call it excellence while so many people condemn it

I recently replayed Creed 1, but when I got to the point where you start revisiting the same towns I was so incredibly done with it - and I mean I set a new record of being done with a single game, I was distorting space and time until I did the "remove local content" in Steam.
My fave will probably remain AssCreed 2. Brotherhood and Revelations were nice but they just had too much frivolous junk added to them. I especially didn't care for all the bombs and what not, that's just too distracting from the actual intended gameplay. AssCreed 2 + the hook from Revelations, that would be the ultimate version of the game ![]() |

I *finally* started checking out some amiga classics that Id not played yet. At the moment it's Disposable Heroes. So far its not too bad. Not nearly as difficult as I was lead to believe (in fact I made it to level3 very 1st time I played it). Seems to be the sort of shooter that tries to coax you into trying to take out attack waves that are much better left alone.
Less shooting and more avoiding makes it much easier. |

Just killed Xanathar yesterday so now my party is going to investigate the temple of Darkmoon.
I'm using CFOU!'s AGA versions - the automap is a real godsend. Excellent work! |

I am now playing The Sword of Fargoal, remake of the classic C64 game. I have just enetered 15th floor of the dungeon, its getting hard there and there must be the sword somewhere, it lies between floors 15-20. Those lurking assassins drive me crazy.

Bruce Lee II, an unofficial sequel to the 1984 classic.
This game is excellent just as the original Datasoft game it's based on. ![]() |

The Sega version lacks the outstanding soundtrack by Tim Follin.
