This seems to be the right place to say, that many functions of this forum do not work with my Opera browser, like subscribing to a thread or attaching files.

EAB use old standard web function, so they should work with any 10 years old browser with javascript enable
Can other Opera users confirm EAB is okay with them ? (and post your Opera version and operation system) |

I'll tell you what is my problem. I'm using a 23" LED monitor set to 1920x1080/16:9 resolution. When I open the EAB forum page I see all the threads/posts completely moved to the left, with an empty (White) column on the right. It seems like the home page is not "Centered", hope you can understand what I mean. When I log in the display is just perfect, that problem disappear. I'm using Firefox 26.0.
Thank you |

Have same issue with Firefox here, although it is a minor one. It seems a little random just how wide the column is. I'm thinking it could have something to do with an adblocker?
Edit: And just for reference, Firefox is a decent browser. Edit2: I also see the issue in Chrome. Last edited by demolition; 02 January 2014 at 15:33. |

With regard to the home/index page, the right column is where you should see adverts when you're not logged in, so if they're blank white spaces, then you have adblock enabled. I use Firefox, have checked with Chrome, my tablets browser too, and none of them cause any problems with EAB whatsoever.

Not a problem Horace
So many people have had similar issues and it's always because Adblocker, or one of the other derivatives, is always enabled whilst viewing EAB. Glad it's now sorted |

Think happens in all browsers if you use ad block (only happens on frontpage)
If you check the HTML source you see that the adsense code is inserted in a table with fixed width (300px is reserved). Just removing the table should solve the problem I think. Or even better... Do not use adblocker on EAB! |

I have added a "Advertisement:" title notification to make it more understandable. Disabling your adblocker on EAB will be greatly appreciated |

Sorry, for reviving an old thread but I didn't know where else to post this:
I noticed recently that the images in signitures were no longer showing up. Having checked my signiture, I noticed that the signiture permissions have been set so that "Allow Image BB Code No". Is this a deliberate change? If so, may I (we) know the reason why? |

Embedding external images in signatures has been disabled to prevent over-large pictures from dominating forum threads.
You can still embed an uploaded picture in your signature (maximum size: 320 by 20 pixels or 19.5 KB; whichever is smaller). |

Is there anyway to fix the ads too. As one of them is crashing firefox. Guess its a flash crash.

I believe this was discussed previously and i think it was decided that EAB would trial external images with the proviso that that weren't abused. Has the feature been abused or was this change made separately to that discussion.
