Well not really. I'd say ISA was.

I guess in Amiga terms you could put it like this:

Zorro II: ISA
Zorro III: VLB.

In case anyone isn't following my other thread on this, Stratagus for WOS (Warcraft 2) is now available on an Aminet mirror near you. Enjoy!

ISA isnt 32bit so it really is the zorro of x86 yes both are but we are talking 32bit
anyways PCI is a standardized bus that any design can use just like SCSI bus etc
really most used bus for 68k is VME

The thing is that I don't want to spend hours and hours (days/weeks) to set-up a complete new Amiga system.

Yes, best choice is rev 2 and of course correct firmware.
Do you have BlizzardPPC? Which revision?

If they were supported under this version of Stratagus they should run, otherwise the LUA scripts would have to be converted (rewritten). Otherwise wait for a newer version. Or just try them.

iFUSION worked on the 603 and 604e, you just needed the proper libraries. It also ran on P96.

Do you think you could add support to init manually PCI-PCIe bridges? Just like the Startech ones sold by Amazon. It could be very useful to use PCIe versions like Bigfoot 2100 that include 128MB of memory

Thanks for clarifying, but sadly Blizzard PPC cards used 603e which was (is) not supported by iFusion.

just remember those are a tad slower PPC than the 8343 they use the 8315
difference is cache size mainly

We must ask ELBOX to add support for PCI-PCIe bridges in the pci.library driver.

Not by the official last release of iFUSION, but we did have preliminary support in later releases that never made it public.

Has anyone successfully used the Sonnetlib PPC cards with any of the following HDD controllers:
FastATA-MKI
Fastlane Z3
A4091

Problem I'm having is that with the FastATA or the Fastlane, system will not boot with a flashing yellow screen, which I think is an address conflict. Setting the SWAP jumper will allow the Fastlane to see drives but I get a block access error past the range of blocks on the HDD.

The A4091 works and I've copied quite a lot of data with it, but I'm getting random lockups after the library is initialized.

Are you asking if it is safe to flash the card on a pc and it still be usable in an Amiga?

Are are you saying you have flashed it on a pc and it is still ok in an Amiga?
