I have seen very few comments directed at DJP personally, the criticisms are of charging a subscription.

I noticed that his comments in particular were a little too mean.

It's all good an we'll being against this but it's obvious in the community that those who had prior beef with DJP are using this for their own crusade.
While we disagree with DJP about this initiative that's all it is and should be. |

As the Kickstarter breaks their terms by including a raffle prize (it's on their list of prohibited items), people can always just report it and hope it gets taken down.
It's never going to hit the goal anyway though. |

Not hitting the goal shows a complete disconnect between DP and the community, hopefully it will result in a rethink of his strategy, for his own benefit.

Your English is better than many native speakers online, so don't sweat that. If a discussion about a minor drama in a niche vintage computer community that literally nobody outside of that particular bubble knows or cares about is met with references to historical genocide, just block and move on. There are issues of perspective that simply aren't worth your time trying to navigate. |

I just wanted to expose him.. separate him from the vast majority of people that have valid criticism about Aga project... .. and oh boy I did it with more success then I anticipated... his personal attack on nationality spoke best for him. About English, I remember this meme lol. |

I had a private messengerconversation with David yesterday where I told him that the best thing to do IS to cancel it..
at the conversation (that I had to jump out of due to familystuff (read: check a movie)) I did not get the feeling he "got the message" really but hopefully afterwards he was thikning and it had some kind of impact.. that cancel this kickstarter was the only correct way to go before it got ugly.. (or. well more ugly) |
