Has anyone tested the ZZ9000 with a Zorro II board in an Amiga 1200?

Don't have an A2000 myself, but yes it should work. Do you use a Zorro2 firmware?

Without a video slot, it works just as any other RTG card (plus network & USB storage), without flickerfixer and passthrough.
You only plug the long card in a zorro slot. The separate flickerfixer part you can't use if you don't have a working video slot. |

Does anyone know if this card is compatible with Mediators? (as I know from experience they do not work with Elbox busboards)

I made my 256MB into a second RAM disk with http://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/AllocRamDisk and http://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/Memory37.4 :-)

@-Acid-
The ZZ9000 does 'kind of' work with both Mediator and Prometheus but requires/required another zorro card to be on the bus as well to avoid a hang on boot. I am currently using beta fw derived from maybe 1.6 fw (i can't remember exactly which it is) - i tried 1.7 but it broke compatibility with prometheus and i have not tried newer fw since. |

Just tested 1.8 and it works fine with promethues, however another zorro card still needs to be installed otherwise its the same old yellow screen on boot. in my case i'm using a prisma megamix as my zorro card.

That's interesting... I do have an X-Surf card but I was hoping to get rid of it that was (one of) the points in buying the mediator Do you think a BigRAM 128mb version would work too? The main problem I have is my 4000 is in a tower so the original daughterboard is not really an option and long since moved on as well.
I love the idea of this card outputting straight to HDMI for native and RTG screens though. I was gutted when it arrived from the second batch and it didn't work on my busboard at the time and I sent it back and got a refund. |

Watch Lukas' latest video .. ZZ9000 Linux and AMIGA integration .. best of both worlds! Only AMIGA makes it possible. https://twitter.com/mntmn/status/1375556007833837569 |

Just to extend on this question, I have an Elbox Winner ZIV daughterboard for my A1200 with the video slot enabler addon, would this ZZ9000 work on such a setup? |
