Lets have some fun. Try this Folks

Launch MEGA Turrican. (Tried this on PS4; probably works on Switch too)

Shoot the * ROPE (L2) and almost immediately JUMP (X) (make sure the rope fires.. so the Rope SoundFx triggers)

Now listen to this dosent it sound amazing

Another "feature the original lacked" XD
Greetings and have fun guys

Yep confirmed - should be fixed in the next build.
This was a direct result of updating the controls to a modern standard allowing the player to cancel any action with another action/button press.
It is indeed a feature the original lacked!

Unessesary problems imho.
Why hacking & changing the Controls in the first place ? They where never an issue.
I can see why some people might want to have a seperate jump button for Turri 1&2, sure.
But why spreading out features onto more buttons ? Thats considered modern ?
So, Nintendo is "old fashioned" because they still use only one button for Mario to Shoot and Run ?
Hmmm, an interesting analogy
In any case, i am not a fan of this "george lucas special edition rerelease treadment".
I have to quote an old Star wars friend of mine here. He said once
"Just give us the originals , and forget that "modern shit".

Maybe, just maybe, he is right.

Greetings, Torti

What is an issue and what isnt, is decided by Factor 5, it is their games!
Barking at me wont be useful as I`m not in charge!

The Flashback collection is targetting mainstream players, so yes it has to have modern controls!
If you dont like that then I can understand that, but once again it isnt my call, im not the project lead!

Im not the George Lucas of this project, im a lowly designer that does what he gets told to do!
Antagonising me is like antagonising the actor of JarJar Binks (that guy got alot of hate) when in fact it was George Lucas who came up with that character!

Instead of realizing that I was on your side, you decided to antagonise me for no reason. So let me make a few things clear:
I´m NOT working for any of the companies involved!
I´m NOT the one making decisions!
I´m NOT going to bother responding to this thread or any PM´s anymore regarding this topic!

You have issues or feedback? Contact those companies - not me!
*edit* You can still PM me bugs if you find something that you think should be fixed - but dont expect an answer *edit*

It's just never good enough for some it seems.

I'm actually of the opinion that it's quite proper to reconsider some of the control options for these old games when re-releasing them. It's not the 1980's/1990's any more and most people will be used to using controllers with many buttons now.

Why assume frustration to be hostility?

I also read it as frustration. And it's kind of understandable I think, there's been a lot of negative comments in this thread. Not all of which were deserved ones.
