I must contact them... bought the product 15 years ago... maybe they can give me the key. Don't feel like buying it again.
Is your "Yeah!" a sign for the fact that it worked somehow? ![]() |

How does CDRWin help if CUE format does not support MODE2 FORM0 tracks? And even if CDRWin does support it (using some semi-undocumented cue flag?), it still won't help if no today's software support it. It still would be pointless "WinUAE-only" image. At least ccd image works via Daemon Tools + WinUAE and it can be burned and used in real CDTV too.

Toni, CDRWin was able to do things that weren't standard compliant (I think the 2 sec pause was also one of those), I haven't tried it. The last version is from 2008, so I think it still works with at least some modern burners.
But if CCD image works... fine. Case solved. |

One more thing, I remembered that Alcohol 120% accepts CCDs and can make cue/bin as output. Since I no longer have this installed, Wiki confirms it:

I've burned the iso with Clonecd following the instructio in the readme:
"Burn with CloneCD by using a New Profile with these settings: Don't Repair Subs: Ticked Weak: Ignore" When i put it in the CDTV it load, but after the first screen (The ICOM logo with the lens) it stops to run and I have a black screen. Could it depend on the fatc I have a 68010 cpu installed in my CDTV (the game could be incompatible)? ![]() |

Did you close the disc session ?
I haven't got CloneCD installed atm, but i'll install it & re-setup my CDTV at the weekend & have another look. |

I tried Alcohol 120 closing the session: in that case the cd didn't load anyway.
With Clonecd it loads the first screen and then it stops. I'll try to burn another cd in few days, let me know if your copy works fine, and which program hav you used ![]() |

I've just installed CloneCD v5.3.1.4 & burnt the image to a CD-R &, from a few minutes playtesting on a real CDTV, it seems to be working fine here (as previously).
Alcohol will not produce a working disc. At the moment, you must burn with CloneCD & you must make sure you create a new image profile with the Don't Repair Subchannel Data option set to ticked & the Weak Sectors option set to "ignore", the disc session option should already default to always close. Burning the image with one of the pre-set image profiles (eg. Game, Protected PC Game etc) will not produce a working disc. I also downloaded the image from the EAB server to double check it's contents & make sure nothing was wrong in the uploaded archive. Burning a disc from this image was also successful on my real CDTV using the same CloneCD setup as above. |

Maybe if you burn onto a super-cheapo blank, it won't make the game work till the end...? |

It should depend of the 68010 installed in my CDTV?
Your CDTV has the original 68000 cpu installed? ![]() |

Game now works in latest WinUAE beta with above CCD image mounted in Daemon Tools without extra video track files. (remember to remove them first)
I can also confirm CCD image burned with CloneCD working fine on my CDTV. |

Ok, I'll try to burn another time the iso wih clone, if it will not work I'll try to replace the 68000 cpu in my CDTV, if it will no work again than it will mean that's a problem of my cd-rom burner.

Thanks for another confirmation Toni - & good news about WinUAE support
![]() Omolungo: It could be the 68010, when I tried burning discs with other burn options during testing the game always froze at the main menu (after the ICOM logo & title screen) rather than at a black screen (on a 68000). andreas: I don't think the CDTV is that picky about the quality of discs, although if they're really cheap discs burning them at a slower speed might help. Having said that, my burns were all on Verbatim discs though. |

Nothing to do: I replaced the 68000 cpu but it doesn't work.
I tried to burn it again with CloneCD and the set up you said me, but it always stop to load after the first screen of presentation. I'll try to burn the image with another pc which has an old but good LG cd-recorder. If it will not work again, than I'll not know what also can be done. Btw, I have an elbox cdtv memory expansion, but I don't think it's the problem |
