I just got a M1 and all is working mutch better Quake is running for 30 Min without a crash !

Only thing is i still cant use my USB card and the M1 together.
Is there a way to disalbe the usb PCI Card without removing it ?

Is the usb card enabled on boot? You can remove
Code:
ENVARC:psdstackloader
from your startup if that's how it's getting kicked off, and run that on demand if it still works.

I already tryed that but its not working.

as soon as the usb card is only plugged in the mediator the ppc crard will crash.
You can see that the memopry is added and after a few seconds the requster "PowerPC CPU possibly crashed during Setup" appers

You could try rearranging your cards, but you've probably already done that.

I think I have a spider somewhere. Maybe I can do a fix or workaround. So your ppc card is now working, Esel?

yes they are 100% the same they just downclocked the 8343 to 333 its rated at 400
heatsink is just show
the plastic package keeps these from running what the 8349 does which is 667MHz
though ofc thats just how they were sold the big K heatsink im sure could cool that 8343 overclocked just fine
its a huge chunk of aluminum coated in nickel
though after saying that im not stating the 8343 will hit 667 as other things play into that factor
as the 8349 uses a heatsink when ran at 667 though they all can run 400/333/266 without a heatsink
the pcie version actually uses the older slower 16kb cache core but ran that chip no heatsink at 400

anyways in our case we are using like half the SoC so it should be running WAYYYYYYYYY cooler than it normally does

I think I found a spider II. At least it has the Spider II sticker on the chip. However, pciinfo says $1033 for VendorID and I was sure that it used to be $89e otherwise the pci.library would refuse it...It seems to work though.

Sadly, I cannot reproduce the crashing of the M1. It works here together with the USB card.

Can you give me a pciinfo output with the gfx card, M1 and Spider II in your machine?

soon as i tx this psu into old case (had to wait on some new switches to get here)
ill be tryin to overclock it and add more ram
im thinking it should at least do 533MHz
we cant change the cpu out unless you made a interposer
so thats that but at least there is mounting holes for a heatsink for those with K1
LED's add a nice red light show on them though lol
was thinking of replacing 2 of them with white for the boing effect
havent looked yet how those are controlled

Is it possible to control the speed from the Amiga? Or would a bios on the K/M1 need flashing?

Further tests show that the M1 hangs when trying to write to frame buffer in any way, when a spider is installed. The thing is that I'm not sure what is happening. Spider.device is not installed. The card does not have an interrupt assigned to it... Maybe something in the pci library?
