Sorry 'bout that Anubis, I just spent the last 2 days on trying to "poke" each and every game in there, but it seems there's more than I've expected...
Neverthless, by making at least one score at every game, I hereby encaurage *EVERYONE* to try the Total-Emu Arcades! Some/most games are really fun! |

I do second that. Some games are really funny and challenging.
There are 602 games and there is an option to create tournaments. (if we get more players to join ) Last edited by Anubis; 20 December 2007 at 16:06. |

About a year or so ago Ian deleted old stats with upgrade on arcade. So you have only 1 third place and you're first from the bottom of the list.

That counts you too, marco, you know
What was the idea behind the score deletion in the first place? Engine incompatible with the newly added games? Last edited by Shoonay; 20 December 2007 at 22:44. |

I guess it was something like that. They added (too) many games since then.

I just ended Inferal and Penumbra Overture, both for PC. I liked very much Infernal, but Penumbra was not so funny.
I'm sad. The Penumbra 2006 Tech-Demo was very interesting, but the first episode of the full game, Penumbra Overture, was not so funny. Two bad things: the lovecraftian creatures of the demo are replaced with "zombie-like" dogs and using weapons is difficult and not accurate. |

You can download Sega CD version of Corpse Killer from gametronik.com. It have less colours, but better sound & more zombies to kill (and no pink bullets).

Well, I'll give this thread a whirl..
On the PC side: Scorched 3D May be old news to some, but I just found it and it's kind of cool, if you find a few people on the net playing. Also FullTiltPoker.Net Trying to decide if I'm good enough to put real money in it. On the Amiga, I finished Heart of the Dragon. Back in the day the premise of the game engine seemed really cool (a time element) but the floppy loads were just brutal. Now with WHDload the loading problem is fixed, but that time element thing turned out to be a hassle. In the end I got pretty tired of it, and checked some spoilers to finish it quickly. Also dug out Nuclear War. Aged pretty well, that game is still a lot of fun. Also, from some chatting on irc I thought I'd give some Lemmings a try. New World Lemmings seems to suck bad, unless I've missed something. And Lemmings 2 was about how I remember... I played about 7-8 levels, hit a tough one and meh. I'm done. It's cute and all, but I'm done. |

All New World of Lemmings isn't bad. It's just different. Some of the simplicity of the Lemmings games is gone. But you could say the loss of simplicity already started in Lemmings 2.
Personally, I love all the Lemmings in the main series, each for different reasons. On topic, I just completed Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror on the PSP. Fantastic game - personally, I prefer this to any Splinter Cell game, which is kind of in the same league. But I found SC to be boring, and Syphon Filter is fun and perfectly paced all throughout the game. If they make a Syphon Filter PS3, it's gonna be a must-have. In the meantime, I'll buy Logan's Shadow (the sequel on the PSP) and enjoy that. But they seriously need to bring out a PS3 sequel. Because, Syphon Filter has never been better - the PSone games can't even compare. Considering starting a new game of Final Fantasy VIII too. |
