I improved my rasterbar implementation (Copper like amiga)
![]() (The first one is smoother than the 2nd, which shows blocs of colors) I reach now more than 1100 colours on a complete scene ! |

This is looking fantastic, but it's a shame it's java based. Had it been c++/sdl based we could've ported this to a bunch of other systems :/

Hello there,
Ok, once again, this game is still my favourite one, so here my last remake : https://github.com/b3dgs/lionheart-remake Also working on Android (with the original Sonic Arranger player). This time, it is 99.9% close to the original, even the finest rasterbar effect / boss behaviour. There is a wiki with a simple user manual, and a short guide showing all the game inside. The final 1.0.0 was just released the 2021-06-30 ! Enjoy (and sorry for the re-re-re-re remake, I think it's the 4th edition since 2007) |

Thanks for sharing the source code, it's always nice to take a gander at what people come up with. Very recognisable really, it's fun to see how certain patterns just tend to pop up naturally

How do i add my joypads, because Xinput and Dinput devices aren't detected. Key for Fullscreen?
While i like these remakes it shouldn't be a tinkering mess. Unpacked the .jar with 7zip but i'm clueless. Default controls is set to mouse? edit: Doesn't work here on Windows 10 21H1, Java 8 installed. Quits without an error when you start the game. Last edited by Retro-Nerd; 02 July 2021 at 19:54. |

I know, the release seem very minimalist. I focused on game-core implementation for this first release. My free time is short, so I'm sorry if it is not enough user friendly right now. I may improve it, but it was necessary for me to make a final release by the end of June (else, things are never released
![]() No joypad support, only keyboard with arrowkeys and CTR_L, and a virtual keyboard on Android. No fullscreen. Can you send me the log ? (lionengine-0.log in %TMP%, or /tmp) Note : Initially, the remake was only for me, but I decided 1 day after release to let some public comment for people like we who enjoys old games, even if package it a bit raw ![]() |

Ah ok, so it is working correctly now ? I also noticed that folders with "é", "à"... crashed. My path solver need to be fixed. Feel free to send me a wish list, I'll try my best ! (But soo many things to do with soo few time) |
