Powerglove saves highscores with nonvolatile.library when the boot-disk is write protected. (But only the TOP-10) It still needs some testing on the real hardware, but it seems to work. Thanks for the CD32-hints!

By the way, the Powerglove trailer is finished. (I won't show the trailer here, because it says: GET IT NOW! ...and obviously, you can't do that, yet)

The game still needs some finetuning and RGCD is not out of the ring, yet. We will see...

Still finetuning...

There are differnt color schemes in deeper levels now

And: Highscores for the PC version (Windows, Mac, Linux) will be synced with www.lazycow.de/powerglove - Will the Amiga version sync highscores as well? Well... maybe yes, maybe no... (it's not working, yet)

It's probably better to leave high score syncing to a separate program in the Amiga's case.

I'm old school, I dislike the word sync! Esp if it has iTunes anywhere near it!

Final status report: Powerglove is finished now und will be available though RGCD (rgcd.co.uk) "soon". (as well as Tiger Claw)

post mortem

It was fun to program for the Amiga again after so many years:
- I really "missed" decoding mysterious guru numbers
- every time the maestro sends music updates, there's an out of chipmem error: Obviously, for musicians "max. 100k" are 125228 bytes...
- it took so much time to draw the 32 color graphics (I am not an artist)
- Is it smart to recycle 20 year old assembler code? I had a hard time fixing bugs in there: What was I thinking? How did that old game do its job despite these error? I have no idea.
- my structured (*couch*) code revealed hidden compiler errors
- this game probably has one of the 10 worst copper lists EVER! And the list wasn't emulated correctly in UAE and had problems on my CD32 (always test on the real hardware!)

Anyway, without vasm, vbcc, UAE, the game wouldn't exist!

Thank you all for the feedback! If I ever will make an Amiga game again, I would be happy to post updates here. (No, there are currently no plans for more Amiga games, sorry)

Not its musician but let me say that it does not happen all the time, just when we musicians think is worth it for some extra K ^^

What's up with RGCD and why does it take them so long to get stuff ready for purchase?!?

I'm a patient man but now it's getting silly... Do they not realise that this is one of the most anticipated games to be released for the Amiga in the past decade???

If I were you Lazycow, I'd most definitely change distributors
