Respect.
Don't know if anyone can access this since Twitter/X is a dick now, but I posted a small, crude playthrough the other day.

There's issues with boundaries and a few other stuff, but they'll be sorted. Obviously some sacrifices have had to be made overall, but it plays ok.

Soooo smooth... I can't believe it run on an 7Mhz...
Gameplay seems arcade perfect.

Never managed to finish arcade version with one credit, had many attempt, and gone pretty far... can't wait to try and finish this one.

This is incredible for (basically) 1985 machine with 2MB chip Ram.

Yamaha HS-50s. The sound is coming from the rather hastily set up flat screen TV which is resting on some drum mic boxes.

The monitors are not the best and are too close to the wall, but decent enough for a flat reference. I do most of my mixing on headphones (I live in a small flat).

That is superb. I saw your recent updte and I could feel you'd had the wind taken out of your sails. I really felt for you. JOTD is brilliant, I am so glad he could help you with this.

Maybe one day you could get your own box made up, McGeezer did a superb video on how to do this over on his Youtube channel.

I really hope you're able to make it over the finish-line one day with this so you can look back and say 'I did it'.

Yeah, I was a bit fatigued and burned out. Still am, but not facing a brick wall now.

I've had a box template made up for a while now, so that's a definite. I think it deserves its own unique artwork though, so that'll be investigated later on.

I only ever played it a few times at the arcade but I have to say very well done, this looks excellent. I'd love to see some proper screen capture footage but this looks really impressive for an ECS machine.
