That's interesting. I did not know that Eek the cat was a game using the same engine as Sleepwalker (both were developed by CTA:

http://hol.abime.net/1978 )

Anyone got more info about this ? It might be worth a note in the HOL entry.

Wow, this topic is still going...

I'm sort of blushing that the creator of the topic is me, I think the little douche known as captainxod was slightly over-caffeinated when he posted it, hehe.

Yep! Click the little ABP symbol and then "Disable on this site only" or whichever you prefer.

The first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game was brutal and for some reason creepy to me as a kid!

Indeed. And it was even more frustrating for me and my brother as we were playing the game on the A600, so there was no way for us to get the Turtle-Truck and go on in the game - and we were just replaying the first three levels all the time hoping that this time we would be able to finally progress!

Which developer thought it'd have been a good idea to use the 0 key on the numeric keypad to use the truck? Just use Space or some other big, commonly used keys

Agreed! When we played it on the NES you just literally walked into the truck and then you're driving. The Amiga versions tried to make it as obscure and random as possible!

I know, right?

Did you know that there are two almost identical TMNT games for the Amiga? Maybe the three disk version gets the truck right, like the NES version did... I played the 1-disk version made by Daisysoft and that one definitely required the 0 key on the keypad to drive the truck.

Gobliins 2. The first level was quite tricky but fun. The puzzles on the remaining levels were totally nonsense and random.

I remember my brother and I agreeing what a load of tosh it was when we completed it with the help of a magazine walkthrough. It has never been reloaded since.

It's possible to view files on disk and game have 7 levels. I think someone can try all levels by renaming them.

Beast2. I had to reboot every time I did something wrong since the only way I was able to progress was with "ten pints" cheat.

In PD game Galaxians aliens can attack you from behind. With big, slow ship you have no chance.
