Hello,
A Gotek HxC firmware user bring me here. Attached the tested and working HFEv3 with the GCR track. Converted from the SCP file with the latest HxC Tool. (Disk bitrate fixed/cleaned to 250kbits/s + GCR track 50 side 0 fixed to ~294kbits/s) |

To compare the SCP doesn't have these noises.

Keir has now updated the decoder for After Burner (Activision) in Disk-Utilities to deal with the CRC error on track 15 (7.1) on some copies! It will now create a proper CRC for that track if it detects the incorrect CRC and will create a working IPF
Previously, the generated IPF would stick on track 7.1 if it was one of the copies with the CRC error as that track would be created unformatted in the IPF due the decoder not recognising it, but that is now fixed! |

I also have a boxed copy and set of loose disks that do not show the CRC error. |

Ok, :
Disk 1-6 (Afterburner) has track 7.1 bad. It's a read error, not a mastering error => cleanup ! Disk 5-6 (Opwolf) is simply dirty from what i see : the copylock track is seen as not clean, I see a band of tracks that are not clean and track 79.1 is seen as modified => most probably due to the dirty aspect, the disk requires a good cleaning. All the other disks are fine. there's no mastering error at all. It's reading problems caused by mould/crap/dirt. Please redump the faulty disks after cleanup, and send them to me please |

Please note as well that After Burner Disk 2 use the Firebird format type 3.

I'll cleanup them up over the weekend and redump! Although Afterburner I did clean several times and track 7.1 still would not decode but all the others did so why only that track and a track that has a known error anyway?
