OK so geki is pretty much complete I will show a preview soon but scorpion is bugging at the moment. update highlights:
  • I have reworked the jump system for enemies.
  • the attack ai is more modular.
  • enemy projectiles implemented.
  • reworked the camera system as the screen jumped when geki teleported.
  • damage stats set for enemy and player but may change.
  • now using scorpions new strafe system so ryu's actors have gone from 4 down to 2. (thanks earok)

Very nice! Looks pretty good, although i never played the original Amiga or arcade game, i just recall local lads smacking the living crap out of the buttons due to them being pressure sensitive.

Are you pleased with this port yourself overall?

Am i pleased with this port? Wow what a question. Well overall i set out to better the original and i would say compared to that trash i smashed it so yeah im happy.

Weather this can stand with the greats like shadow fighter and body blows we will have to wait and see.

Very well done. Good job sir.

What I noticed while watching the last video:

1.There are some jumping animation frames of Geki with shadows. (1:25 in video)
They would look better if being placed on the ground and not under his boots in the air.

2. Ryu has no shadow while walking back or forward.

@maneus I also noticed the shadow on geki jumping but that is how it was on the arcade original so I left it in for now but might review all the fake shadows on the final optimizations.
